Happiness Is A Long And Confusing One - 1755 Words

The journey to find true happiness is a long and confusing one. Many people have sought the answer to the question of what is true happiness, but have found a different answer every time. The idea of happiness is what is so addicting to the human race, even if they have no idea how to get it or where to find it. Happiness becomes something that seems almost impossible to get as we live, because as we search for it we try to find it in the things other people tell us it is. What this does is begins to warp what we know true happiness is; However, the moments in life when we are at our lowest and desperate we begin to try anything to achieve happiness. Happiness is not something that can be found by hunting it down like some animal.†¦show more content†¦Once someone has their view of happiness warped it becomes hard for them to find true happiness. People begin to lose hope into finding their version of happiness so they try to get it from an artificial places like drugs and e xpensive item. This intern causes a chain reaction into how people believe in happiness, now their is another person who believes the only way to happiness is through these artificial version and not one’s life. This is a truth in life because happiness is different for everyone I find happiness in playing basketball, while others may find happiness in walking there dog to their favorite music. In a song by Kid Cudi called the â€Å"Pursuit of Happiness† he describes how he was searching for happiness and says, â€Å"Everything that shines ain’t always going to be gold†. (Kid Cudi) Kid Cudi is rapping about this truth that he has found in life. When he became famous and rich he got even more lost in his search for happiness, with him believing that with this lifestyle happiness comes from lavish living, However, what he finds out is that while some of that that stuff can make him happy hit cannot always make him feel happiness. He knows that this is not t he rout to true happiness, but he says when people try to tell him that he blows them off and says he doesn’t care. He just wants to feel happy, so to achieve this fake happiness he smokes marijuana and drinks alcohol. Ironically even though Kid Cudi
